Fibres

Fibres
Properties

- Acrylic fibre become which has become bacteriostatic through the inclusion of an additive in the fibre's structure itself. This organic additive (Triclosan) does not generate any allergic reaction to the used concentrations.

- Limits the growth of bacteria.

- Keeps its properties up to 200 washes, and even more!

- Exists either as antibacterial with Amicor®, or as antibacterial and fungicide with Amicor® Plus.

- Also efficient in combinations including 20% Amicor® at least.

- Registered trademark for polyester fibres, belonging to Dupont's Dacron® range.

- The uniquely-shaped fibre speed moisture to outer surface.

- As an hydrophobic fibre, Coolmax® absorbs and retains 8 times less sweat than nylon and 14 times less than the cotton.

- The breathability further enhances the thermoregulatory effect.

- Coolmax® is used fora active sportswear, socks, lining footwear for outerwear and footwear, etc.

- Rhône Poulenc's registered trademark for Tergal Fibres' micro-fibres.

- Polyester twice as fine as cotton.

- Used as spun yarn, either alone or in blends to obtain supple and soft threads.

-Polyamide imide fibre, belonging to the aramids range.

- High performance fibre for fire and heat resistance.

- Good mechanical, chemical and thermal properties.

- Recommended in heat and flame protective apparel.

-High performance technology : 5 times stronger than steel, high cut resistance and good thermal insulation.

- Nylstar's registered trademark for a wide range of polyamide multi-filament yarns..

- Includes various specific products subfamilies which have been developed by Nylstar R&D Dept.

- Main application fields : soft touch with Meryl® microfibre ; comfort with Meryl® spring and Meryl® souple ; performance with Meryl® techno and Meryl® nexten ; aspect with Meryl® tango and Meryl® satiné.

- Lenzing's registered trademark for Modal® fibres.

- A viscose-like cellulosic fibre.

- Improved mechanical resistance.

- Modal® Sun includes an additive which absorbs UV rays. Its sun protection factor can reach up to level 30, according to the fabric structure.

-Thermal technology ; optimal heat and flame protection, also guarantees comfort and durability.

- Rhovyl's registered trademark for its chloro-fibre..

- Rhovyl AS has become bacteriostatic through the inclusion of an additive in the fibre itself.

- Also exists as Rhovyl AS + : bacteriostatic and anti-dust mite.

- This fibre which gives softness, warmth and which also pervents the proliferation of bacteria is therefore recommended for underwear, among other application fields.

- This fibre is on polyester or polyamide base polymers and covered with a fine copper sulphide layer, to give it bacteriostatic properties and sufficient static control capacity.

- Will be used in blends with other fibres in antistatic or bacteriostatic fabrics.

- Acordis' registered trademark for its special viscose fibres.

- Viloft® Micro is Acordis' registered trademark for its 0,9 dtex viscose micro-fibres.

- This fibre is offered in shiny as unbleached (or ecru) and is recommended for light and silky fabrics or jerseys which have a similar touch as woven or knitted fabrics made in natural fibres.

Belltron®

- High performance antistatic fibre, available in nylon or polyester base polymers ; excellent conductivity even in blending small amounts of Belltron®.

- High resistance to washing, flexing and abrasion.
